If you live in a rainy or snowy place, you need these boots. They don’t cost much and will prevent you from slipping around town. It’s hard to find rain booties that aren’t horrendously ugly and heavy, but these manage to be lightweight and stylish while still actually protecting your feet against rain.

I was impressed by how luxurious these felt given the price tag, and I tested them out during a full rainy day of running errands – a task that’s usually not luxurious in the slightest. My toes had plenty of wiggle room without gapping to rub against my ankle. The heel is 1.7″ to give you a small lift without being too extreme.

If you’re looking for a black bootie that you can wear to dinner then to the club, this is it. I had trouble deciding on a color because there are several good options like glossy black, black/wine, and black suede. These have a chunky heel that’s about 3 inches tall and zip up on the side to be easy to put on.

These booties feel like they’re good quality, and because of the rubber sole they are pretty easy to walk in – even for people like me who look like a baby giraffe in heels.
